4th of July Weekend

On the 4th we decided to go check out Manito Park and we fell in LOVE with it! When we first got to the park Cohen just kept saying "Wow", it was super cute. We drove through it and it's super pretty and cute and we went to one of the playgrounds that they have. Cohen instantly hit the ground running as soon as he saw the playground. He took on the big slide as fast as he could and ran all over the place. The one we went to had a little splash pad too, which if we had known we would've brought stuff for Cohen so he could do it so we would have to stop him from running over to it a bunch but luckily there were a bunch of slides to distract him. We also loved the area it was in and it was a great way to see a different part of Spokane for us and get us out. As of right now that's where I'd love to live when we buy a house.

After nap time Cohen and I weeded while Dave mowed the front and back yards. Cohen LOVES playing in the dirt any chance he can get. Then for dinner we had your not typical 4th of July dinner of Mac n' Cheese since we had just done the BBQ thing two days before and weren't super hungry.
After Cohen had gone down for the night Dave's brother Lance came over to spend the night. We stayed up chatting for a while and listened to the couple of fireworks we could hear before we all headed off to bed too.

The next morning we went to the little park in the mall and Cohen got to run around there. After the park Dave, Cohen and I went for a ride on the train that goes around the mall. Cohen did awesome on it! He was so excited to finally get to ride in the Choo-Choo and not just watch it go by (which he also gets VERY excited about). When we got back to the house Dave and Lance took off for Austin's baseball game while Cohen and I had lunch, played, and then it was nap time.

After Cohen's nap Dave, Lance and Austin came back to our house. We hung out for a while/ watched Lilo and Stitch 2 (Cohen LOVES Stitch right now). Then Lance and Austin had to head out for Austin's 2nd game of the day. We finished the movie, hoped in the car, stopped at Jack in the Box, and went to watch Austin's game. It turned out they were playing the Sammamish team which was weird because they were more my "home team". Cohen loved cheering with which ever team was cheering at the moment and dancing to the music they would play between team field switches. We were able to watch Austin play for a little bit in the outfield before we had to head back home and run through the night time routine super quickly with Cohen.
