Halloween

Halloween was kind of an up in the air thing for us this year with the baby. We had no idea if the baby would be here yet or what not so we didn't really super try to get into it. Well, Friday (today) came and we still had no new baby so it was "ok, what are we going to have Cohen dress up as?". Pretty much no where had any costumes left. Thankfully Target had a green hoodie (which I flipped inside out since it had big writing across the chest) and some cute little green Nerf arrows and a bow. And we were set for a SUPER last minute costume of the Green Arrow. Like I bought everything and we raced home from Target, it was 4pm, I super fast sewed a quiver for his arrows and made sure it worked with my belt to stay across his chest and back, we quickly had dinner, I painted a mask on his face with some make-up and it was time to go to the ward Trunk-or-Treat.
All in all, even if most people thought Cohen was a Ninja Turtle, we were happy with his cute little costume. Cohen LOVED his little mask (which was super hard to get on his never still face). So I'd call it a success.
Cohen was super cute going around to the different cars. At the first 3 he was shy, but by the 5th car he had saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" down! I'm glad we were able to go and have this fun little activity because who knows how many more we will get as a family of 3 before Olivia comes (which could literally be any day now.... like if she wanted to come now I'm game... just saying).
