Christmas Weekend

Here's what happened Christmas weekend for us-
Saturday day we just hung out in the apartment and watched a few movies, included White Christmas. Then we went over to my parents' house for dinner. Dinner was great and we got to sing songs and open up a few Christmas presents. Then we played "Buzz Word" which was fun but tricky. We had "The Old Guys" vs "The Young Guys" and the old guys took the cake, good job dad, mom, and Dave. We came home and finished White Christmas and then hopped into our bed.
Christmas morning we woke up and opened up presents!!! My presents I got included : "The Count of Monte Cristo", all of "House, MD" on DVD, a pair of yellow converses, an Xbox Kinect, The Disneyland game (awesome), Little Big Planet 2, Candy, Clothes, and the rest of The Muppets movies that we didn't own yet! Dave got a 3DS, a bunch of gaming games, all of the Indiana Jones movies, Legos, Candy, Clothes, and more. We enjoyed our warm fireplace all day long too! We had a yummy roast beast for dinner that Dave winged in the crock pot (which we love). And we watched "Crazy Stupid Love". We also played a bunch of our new games, including the Disneyland game. Dave and I both got a workout (unprepared for) doing this one. My arms and legs are still killing me.
Dave had Monday off so we went on a date to Ruth's Chris for lunch (so yummy) and then we walked around Bellesquare. We ran a few errands and then headed home for more gaming, cuddling, movie watching time. It was so nice to have him to my self for a four day weekend!! Now I just need to entertain myself for the rest of the week until work again next week.
Here are some pictures from this weekend, they're out of order but oh well:
Waiting for me to finish getting ready for our date

The Game of Life

So today we had my siblings over. We played a little Mario Kart on the Wii and Tommy dominated at that. Then we ate some delicious pizza from Papa Murphy's. After that we pulled out our awesome version of The Game of LIFE (we have it for the Wii as well which is fun) that is like the original version of the game. Dave was the banker for the game (the game does allow 6 people to play though) and we were off. Jessy skipped right into the real world while Tommy and I both became doctors (the original one has you land on a specific career space rather than picking a card/salary, while Kiernan went to college, studied for finals and only ended up with a University Degree making only 2k more than Jessy. About a quarter of the way through poor Kiernan had to go back to the beginning, but luckily he ended up as a dr this time, but he was way behind everyone else for the rest of the game. The rest of the game went like this:
Gabrielle - invests a lot of money into her company, has a lot of children/adopts too, buying a helicopter
Tommy - lands on very handy random spaces like getting an inheritance, finding treasure, got sued a bunch but still had a ton of money (2 million or more), buying a helicopter
Kiernan - way behind everyone else, two children, enjoyed risking money on bets, needing to get two sets of false teeth (yep he landed on both spaces saying this), buying a yacht
Jessy - wanting to land on children spaces but never does, having a house burn down and then buying a house (yes in that order (this is the vintage version so you don't get a house card)), buying a yacht and then crashing that yacht into an ice burg but gains money from the crash by selling ice cubes (how this works no one knows), and then (after Tommy and I are both at millionaire estates (Kiernan still way behind) and Tommy has a ton of money) risking all her money and spinning the wheel to either loose everything or become a millionaire tycoon (meaning she wins the game) wins the game
Needless to say Tommy was not impressed...
It was fun having them all over!

She's the winner

Into The Woods Paper Dolls

So I ordered some magnet sheets of paper and printed out 5 of the main characters from "Into the Woods" which I had drawn. They're so cute and fun... my finger is killing me though from the very intense cutting of the paper dolls. Too bad Cinderella's Prince lost his boot (I accidentally dropped it in the middle of putting it on him, irony)

Left to right-
Cinderella's Prince, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Rapunzel's Prince, The Witch (young)

This is comparing them from my computer to the fridge
