Christmas 2014

Christmas Eve Cohen and I made my favorite peppermint sugar cookies. He helped me with every part of it except the baking in the oven bit. Throughout the whole process he was eating the dough and sneaking licks of frosting but when the cookies were all assembled and ready to eat he wouldn't even try one, his loss. We watched the Curious George Christmas movie, played, and hung out. Before heading to Laura and Brad's house I had Cohen write/draw a letter for Santa to put with the Santa cookies. He made sure we let Santa know he wanted Legos AND orange juice for Christmas.

At Laura's we were welcomed by Ellie dressed as Santa Claus for Cohen. He wasn't sure what to think. We had a super tasty dinner, hung out, and opened a couple presents. We got to see lots of Christmas lights on the way home.

After getting home we quickly read through "The Night Before Christmas" and opened up our Christmas jammies. After getting both kiddos in bed we want watched White Christmas and wrapped presents until 2 am. Which was when Olivia woke up so she and I were up until 4 am.

    

Christmas morning we got up around 8 and opened up our presents.

I got a Kitchen Aid Mixer!!!

  After presents Cohen helped me make waffles, bacon, and eggs. We then played with our new toys, had naps, and played some more. Right before Cohen's nap we got to talk to Kiernan on Skype!!

That night we had a tasty chicken and watched the animated Nativity movie to celebrate Christ's birth.
