Cohen's 2nd Birthday

I still can't believe my little boy has been around for two years. It feels like he's been here forever but at the same time it feels like he's still just my little baby boy.
For Cohen's birthday it was pretty much a he got to choose whatever he wanted day since it's his last hurrah before he's not the only baby in our house. So he got a chocolate shake, a mickey mouse birthday balloon (which he loved to death - literally ), play time outside, to watch shows he wanted to, whatever food he wanted -- he was king. And he loved it. Cohen was able to skype with two of his grandparents yesterday, my dad (who was in Germany) and later on that day my mom (he also talked to her on the phone that day too). He even got to open a bonus birthday present in the middle of the day since a package I had ordered for him came that day (instead of in a few weeks like I had anticipated) and he was so excited to play with his new little musical instruments during the day that he had to show both my parents them when he skyped with them.
That night he got to open his presents from Dave and I as well as his present from Grandpa Zaugg. Cohen had requested blueberry muffins as his birthday "cake" so I made those up for him and we put two candles in one of them, sang the birthday song, and let him blow them out. This boy normally LOVES to chow down on blueberry muffins (hence the request) but he was too busy LOVING his new toys to really eat it after he blew out the candles.
The next morning he got to open his present from his Great-Grandma Murphy because I spaced and had put it somewhere else rather than with the other presents. Good thing he gets so excited to open presents.
His word for the day was "excited" too! It was so cute. I'm glad we could celebrate his exciting little 2nd birthday!
The night before!
Just woke up and ready for the big day
