Rain Rain Go Away

We've been getting LOTS of rain lately! It probably doesn't help that the week we got the best weather Cohen was sick so we couldn't go out and enjoy it. And of course after he was all better it decided to pour. On Wednesday of last week I decided that was enough and decided to tough out pictures and a walk since the sun decided to pop out and seemed like it was going to stay. Well we went on our walk with the Riddles and of course we got a little too adventurous and instead of turning around at the end of the trail decided to go wandering and that's when it decided to pour. So we had to run, pushing/carrying our babies in the heavy rain. Thank goodness for warm pjs and hot chocolate.
Well this week has been kind of the same, but on this Wednesday it was actually PERFECT out. So we went for a walk before Cohen's nap on our usual mommy and me Wednesday walk with our apartment friends and their babies. It was a little cold in the beginning but it was so worth it. Cohen had been getting super whiny the last couple of days and we really think it was just from being cooped up inside all the time. Well on Wednesday he was on cloud 9! After his nap we went outside again. He was ALL OVER THE PLACE soaking it all in again. It's crazy how easy it is to re-appreciate the little things in life. We also lucked out and had a gorgeous day yesterday so I got to take some spring pictures of Cohen and Ellie.
We love our sunshine here and we're going to miss it when we move, but at least we will have a car so we can still get out of the house.
