This last Sunday Cohen had his baby blessing. We had Dave's dad and sister come down, my family (with the exception of Tommy who's on his mission), Grandma Maria, and Juan, Sara, and Maia all come down for it. Our apartment was packed on Sunday!
Cohen got to wear Dave's old baby blessing outfit (which we think he was allergic to. That or the soap it was washed with. My poor baby). The blessing was short and sweet. The best part was at the end. Normally dads will show off their baby with the baby in the crook of daddy's arm. But for those sitting in the back you can't see the baby. Since we were kinda at the back Dave lifted Cohen up like Simba was by Rafickee (spelling?) at the end of The Circle of Life. It was Awesome.
