So here's the update:
My father-in-law came into town on Monday, which happened to be the only day I needed to into work for the week (it was lovely). Tuesday I did some visiting teaching (that I totally forgot was going to happen, thank goodness my partner came knocking on my door), we ran a few errands, picked up Dave and went out to eat at Red Robin. We got to just hang out and chat about all sorts of things while Dave was at work on Wednesday and he had the car. Thursday we went over to my parent's house for Thanksgiving dinner which was wonderful and game filled. Friday we decided to cook our own turkey with Rod here to teach Dave how to cook it in our new roaster we have!
